Professor Şahram MİNAYİ serves as a full Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Doğuş University's Faculty of Engineering, where he also holds the position of Department Chair. Additionally, he manages the Research Support Office (ARDES) and has been with the university since 2001, progressing from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor and finally to Professor in 2009. His educational background includes a BSc from Iran University of Science and Technology (1993), followed by MSc (1997) and PhD (2001) degrees in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. His doctoral thesis focused on "New possibilities in current-mode circuits using current controlled conveyor (CCC II)". Professor MİNAYİ's research centers on analog circuit design with particular emphasis on current-mode circuits, analog signal processing, instrumentation amplifiers, and memristor emulators. His work spans filter design, oscillator circuits, fractional-order systems, and neuromorphic computing applications. He has developed numerous innovative circuit topologies including floating memristor emulators, universal filters, and precision rectifiers that have significantly advanced analog circuit implementation techniques. His extensive publication record shows consistent focus on current-conveyor based circuits, with recent work (2023-2025) exploring memtranstor emulators, chaotic oscillators, fractional-order filters, and reconfigurable filter architectures. These publications demonstrate his ongoing leadership in analog circuit design, particularly in creating novel circuit topologies with reduced component counts and enhanced functionality. His team has developed numerous circuit topologies that reduce component count while maintaining performance, with particular attention to electronically tunable circuits suitable for integrated circuit implementation.
