Kelli Stidham Hall is Associate Dean of Research at the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Tulane University, where she holds professorial appointments in the Department of Social, Behavioral, and Population Health Sciences and the Department of Epidemiology. She is the Co-Director of the Mary Amelia Center for Women’s Health Equity Research and a key leader in maternal and reproductive health research. Her research focuses on the social determinants of maternal-child and reproductive health equity, addressing structural racism, poverty, health policy, and systemic stressors through interdisciplinary, community-engaged approaches. She leads large-scale, multi-level interventions and has extensive experience in multisector collaboration to reduce health disparities in the U.S. and globally. Dr. Hall has secured over $75 million in grant funding and currently serves as Principal Investigator on five NIH-funded projects. She also co-leads Columbia University’s NIH U54 Maternal Health Research Center of Excellence. Her work bridges epidemiology, public health practice, and policy development. She previously founded the Center for Reproductive Health Research in the Southeast at Emory University, demonstrating sustained leadership in advancing reproductive health science. She leads and collaborates with major research centers including the Mary Amelia Center for Women’s Health Equity Research and the NIH U54 Maternal Health Research Center of Excellence, fostering interdisciplinary teams focused on systemic solutions to maternal health disparities.
