Christine McWayne is a Professor in the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study & Human Development at Tufts University, School of Arts and Sciences. Her work focuses on early childhood education, particularly addressing systemic barriers faced by children in poverty and culturally diverse communities. She leads the Ensuring eXperiences for Children's Early Learning Success (ExCELS) Lab and co-founded the Readiness through Integrative Science and Engineering (RISE) Project.
