Prof. Alexander Onysko is a full-time Professor and Head of the Institute of English and American Studies at the University of Klagenfurt's Faculty of Cultural and Educational Sciences. His research focuses on cognitive linguistics, sociolinguistics, and world Englishes, with particular interest in language contact, multilingualism, and conceptual metaphors.
