Adrienne Dove is a Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Planetary Sciences at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Her research focuses on dusty plasmas in the solar system, microgravity environments, and planet formation processes. She leads a lab (PSB 409) and oversees graduate and undergraduate research opportunities in these areas. Dove is actively involved in NASA's Lunar-VISE mission, which recently passed critical milestones toward lunar exploration. She contributed to the College of Sciences' record $43.6M in research funding (2022-23), reflecting her impactful scholarly work. Students can engage in her lab under prerequisites involving learning materials in planetary sciences. Affiliations: Department Chair, Professor Lab Location: PSB 409 Key Projects: Lunar-VISE mission collaboration, dusty plasma dynamics Her research bridges laboratory experiments with space-based observations to understand planetary formation mechanisms. Dove advocates for student participation in cutting-edge astrophysical research, aligning with UCF's emphasis on experiential learning.
