Prof. Dr. Arzu ÖZYÜREK is a full Professor at the Department of Child Development, Faculty of Health Sciences, Karabük University, Türkiye. Since 2019 she has served as both Department Chair and Programme Chair, while previously holding roles such as Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Erasmus Coordinator and Research Centre Director. She is an active faculty member with 393 publications and 488 citations (h-index 31 on Google Scholar). She investigates protective and risk factors influencing children’s adjustment, develops measurement instruments, and evaluates intervention programmes delivered in family, school and digital settings. Publication Trends Across 2023–2025 her work has increasingly targeted digital contexts, including Instagram addiction, web-based early-math family programmes, and remote education during COVID-19. Earlier studies explored humour development, moral values, emotional regulation and attachment in adolescents and preschoolers. Methodologically she employs scale development, experimental and quasi-experimental designs, CHAID analyses, and cross-cultural comparisons.
