Dr. Esther Eshel is an Associate Professor in the Bible department at Bar Ilan University and serves as the head of the Jeselsohn Epigraphic Center for Jewish History. She is a prominent scholar in biblical studies with specialization in ancient Jewish texts and epigraphy. Dr. Eshel earned her Ph.D. in Bible from the Hebrew University.
