Dr. Christian Wokem is a Lecturer in the Bachelor of Science Construction Project Management program at the School of Construction, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). He holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering and is a certified Professional Engineer (P.Eng), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM). B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Nigeria M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Alberta M.Sc. in Construction Project Management (with distinction) from Robert Gordon University, UK Diploma in Small and Medium Real Estate Development from New York University Advanced Project Management Certificate from Stanford University’s Centre for Professional Development Christian’s research focuses on integrating computing, data science, and artificial intelligence into engineering and construction, alongside structural reliability analysis and fatigue/fracture mechanics. His work bridges modern computational techniques with traditional infrastructure challenges. He has been recognized for academic and professional excellence, including awards for teaching, academic performance, and engineering creativity. Christian brings extensive consulting experience in structural, geotechnical, and highway engineering to his role.
