Professor Alexandra I. Cristea is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at Durham University, serving as Deputy Executive Dean (Postgraduate Research) in the Faculty of Science. She founded the Artificial Intelligence in Human Systems research group and leads the SCENE Lab , focusing on adaptive, personalized, and gamified educational technologies.
