Prof. Matt Miller is a Senior Lecturer and ENGR 1020 Course Coordinator in the Department of General Engineering at Clemson University. His roles include teaching foundational engineering courses such as ENGR 1020 (Engineering Disciplines and Skills), ENGR 1410 (Programming and Problem Solving), and courses for the General Engineering Learning Community (GELC) and Boyd Scholars programs. He holds a B.S. (2007), M.S. (2008), and a Graduate Certificate in Engineering and Science Education (2010), all from Clemson University. Miller’s research focuses on social capital dynamics among engineering students, particularly regarding demographics and academic/career decision-making, supported by an NSF CAREER grant.
