Dr. Courtney Keim serves as Associate Professor of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences and President of the Kentucky Psychological Foundation, where she leads initiatives in diversity, equity, inclusion, and psychologically healthy workplaces across Kentucky. She actively consults with organizations including Louisville Metro Government, Norton Behavioral Medicine, and the U.S. Navy. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Christian Brothers University and a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology with Industrial & Organizational concentration from the University of Memphis. Dr. Keim's research centers on organizational wellness and psychologically healthy workplaces, with specific investigations into job insecurity predictors, organizational trust during crises like COVID-19, and leadership impacts on employee well-being. Her parallel educational psychology work examines active learning strategies, student engagement, and cultural competence development through study abroad programs. She teaches courses including Personality Psychology, Organizational Behavior, and Industrial-Organizational Psychology while supervising internships and theses.
