Kamal Youcef-Toumi is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at MIT. His research focuses on dynamic systems, robotics, manufacturing automation, and high-speed atomic force microscopy (AFM). He leads the Mechatronics Research Laboratory (MRL), which develops advanced instrumentation and control systems for applications in nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, and energy systems. He has pioneered innovations like the world's largest-range high-speed AFM and in-pipe robotic leak detection systems. Education: B.Sc.
