Hilde J.P. Weerts is an Assistant Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology , affiliated with the Department of Data Mining within the School of Mathematics and Computer Science . Her research focuses on algorithmic fairness, machine learning ethics, and mitigating discrimination in AI systems. She obtained her MSc and PhD (2025 thesis) from TU/e, with a background in interpretable machine learning and fraud detection systems.
