Prof. Marc van Kreveld is a Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science at Utrecht University since February 2023. His research focuses on computational geometry, geometric algorithmics, and their applications in GIScience, cartography, and puzzle design. He leads the Geometric Computing group and has made significant contributions to algorithms for trajectory data, geometric similarity, and spatial data analysis.
Education: PhD in Computer Science from Utrecht University (1992).
