Ann L. Oberg is a Professor of Biostatistics at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, holding full faculty privileges. She serves as Director of the Biostatistics Core for the Mayo Clinic Ovarian and Pancreatic Cancer SPORE programs, and Director of the Computational Genomics and Bioinformatics Unit for the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology. Her work focuses on genomic data analysis, cancer risk modeling, and clinical trial design. Education: PhD in Statistics, North Carolina State University MS in Biometry, University of Nebraska-Lincoln BS in Mathematics, University of Nebraska at Kearney Research Interests: Dr. Oberg specializes in large-scale genomic data analysis (mRNA, protein mass spectrometry, DNA methylation) to identify disease markers and improve treatment strategies for ovarian and pancreatic cancers. She develops prognostic models, experimental designs for xenograft studies, and normalization methods for genomic datasets.
