**Daniel Petit** is a **Full Professor of Indo-European Linguistics** at the **École normale supérieure (ENS)** since 2003 and **Director of Studies in Baltic and Indo-European Linguistics** at the **École pratique des hautes études (EPHE)** since 2011. He holds a PhD in Greek Linguistics (1996) and a Habilitation in Baltic Linguistics (2002), both from Paris-Sorbonne Université.
