Jérôme Le Rousseau is a Professor at the Laboratoire analyse, géométrie et applications (LAGA), Sorbonne Paris Nord University, affiliated with CNRS UMR 7339. A junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France since 2012, his research focuses on microlocal analysis, Carleman estimates, and controllability of partial differential equations. His research explores three primary domains: Microlocal analysis for studying singularities in PDE solutions Carleman estimates for unique continuation and control theory Inverse problems involving wave propagation and stabilization Recent publications demonstrate strong focus on wave/quantum observability (2024), geometric control on manifolds (2024), and plate stabilization (2023), with consistent emphasis on microlocal techniques across 15+ peer-reviewed articles. Awards include: Junior membership in Institut Universitaire de France (2012) He co-organizes the Paris-London Analysis Seminar and previously led conferences on inverse problems at Institut Henri-Poincaré. Affiliated with LAGA laboratory, he mentors collaborators including Nicolas Burq and Luc Robbiano.
