Dimitrios D. Vergados is a Professor in the Department of Informatics at the University of Piraeus, holding the UNESCO Chair in 'Creative Cities in Motion: Urban Sustainable Mobility and Utilization of Cultural Resources.' As an IEEE Senior Member, he specializes in wireless networks, computer networks, and advanced digital technologies, with a focus on 5G, IoT, and smart systems.
