Darja Reuschke is an Associate Professor in the Department of Strategy and International Business at the University of Birmingham. Her research focuses on labor markets, self-employment dynamics, and spatial aspects of work, particularly in urban contexts. She holds a PhD from TU Dortmund (2009) and a degree from Humboldt University Berlin (2002). Her work has been supported by grants from the ERC, ESRC, and UKRI. Notable roles include serving on the ESRC Grant Assessment Panel (2018–2022) and the UKRI Policy Fellowship panel since 2023.
