Dr. Matthew Hale is an Associate Professor of Cybersecurity and Director of the School of Interdisciplinary Informatics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) College of Information Science and Technology. With a PhD from the University of Tulsa, he specializes in the intersection of cybersecurity, software engineering, behavioral psychology, and compliance certification. Since 2014, he has secured $5.7 million in grants (including $1.4M as PI) from NSF, NSA, DARPA, USDoT, and others.
