Davor Končalović is Associate Professor in Energy and Process Engineering at the University of Kragujevac's Faculty of Engineering. His research focuses on sustainable energy transitions, air quality management, and environmental impacts of urban systems in Southeast Europe. Recent projects analyze PM2.5 pollution monitoring, renewable energy forecasting, fuel-switching impacts, and sustainable building retrofits. Dr. Končalović investigates energy cooperatives as models for just transition in the Balkans and studies behavioral aspects of urban sustainability, including student mobility patterns and air quality perceptions. He contributes to technical solutions for industrial energy efficiency through heat pump integration and cogeneration systems.
