Dr. Jana Moser is Head of the Cartography and Visual Communication Department and Coordinator of the Geovisualization Research Area at the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography (IfL) in Leipzig. She holds a Diplom in Cartography from TU Dresden (1998) and a PhD in Cartographic History from TU Dresden (2007). Her research focuses on historical cartography, geovisualization methodologies, and the role of maps in knowledge transfer. Her recent work explores non-territorial spatial formats and educational atlas analysis. Collaborates with institutions including the Saxon Academy of Sciences and the University of Leipzig.
