Dr. Nakkeeran Kaliyaperumal is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering, University of Aberdeen. He holds advanced qualifications including a PhD in Nonlinear Fibre Optics from Anna University, India, and professional certifications such as Fellow of the Institute of Physics (FInstP) and Chartered Engineer (CEng). His research spans optical fiber sensors, solitons in nonlinear fiber optics, supercontinuum generation, and photonic crystal fiber design.
