Dr. Ammar Al-Bazi is an Associate Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Simulation at Aston Business School, part of the College of Business and Social Sciences at Aston University. He holds a PhD in Simulation and Optimization from Teesside University and an MSc in Statistics and Operational Research from the University of Baghdad. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and has led multiple funded projects, including those supported by Innovate UK and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). His research focuses on applying simulation, optimization, AI, and digital technologies to solve real-world challenges in logistics, energy, and manufacturing.
