Alexandra Milin Glaeser, MD, is an Associate Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She practices hospital medicine at UCLA Ronald Reagan and Santa Monica Medical Centers, where she focuses on providing holistic patient care, facilitating transitions of care, and leading quality improvement initiatives. Education: MD from New York University School of Medicine (2012); undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania (magna cum laude, with honors). Dr. Glaeser is a board-certified internist and serves as Co-Chair of the 4th-year Capstone course at UCLA, while also co-directing a hospital-based Procedure Service. Her research spans medical education, simulation training, point-of-care ultrasound, and clinical workflows, with a particular emphasis on improving patient safety and residency preparedness. Recent publications highlight innovations in oncology care, simulation pedagogy, and anticoagulation protocols. Scientific Awards: Induction into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society during medical education. She teaches point-of-care ultrasound and high-fidelity simulation to medical students and residents, integrating these tools into longitudinal curricula.
