Michal Krzyzanowski is a Professor of Media and Communication Sciences at Uppsala University, Sweden, where he serves as Deputy Head of the School of Informatics & Media and Director of Research at the Center for Multidisciplinary Research on Racism (CFR). With a career spanning institutions like the University of Liverpool, Örebro University, and Stockholm University, his work focuses on critical discourse studies of media, politics, and social change, particularly examining racism normalization , populist rhetoric , and immigration discourses in digital and traditional media.
