Dr. Emmanouil Athanasiadis is a bioinformatician at the University of Cambridge's Department of Haematology, with dual affiliations at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and Medical Research Council (MRC) Stem Cell Institute. His research integrates computational biology with medical applications, focusing on single-cell genomics, cancer biology, and cardiovascular disease mechanisms since 2016.
