Anne Alexander is a Senior Research Associate and Director of Learning at Cambridge Digital Humanities (CDH), University of Cambridge. She has held this role since CDH's foundation and previously coordinated the Cambridge Digital Humanities Network. Her affiliations include membership in the Data Ethics Group and Humanities and Data Science Special Interest Group at the Alan Turing Institute. Research Focus: Anne investigates the intersection of technology, society, and power structures. Her core interests include: Ethical frameworks for big data utilization Activist media ecosystems in the Middle East Political economy of digital infrastructures AI applications in humanities and social sciences Data justice issues in the Global South Supervision: She mentors doctoral candidates in social movement media strategies, internet political economies, and applied AI for knowledge production.
