Prof. Dr. Habil Zhivka Stefanova Koleva-Zlateva is a distinguished Professor in the Department of General Linguistics and Old Bulgarian Studies at the Faculty of Modern Languages, St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria. With a prolific academic career spanning several decades, she has established herself as a leading expert in etymology, semantic reconstruction, sound symbolism, and psycholinguistics, with particular expertise in Bulgarian language teaching for non-native speakers. She has served as project leader for initiatives focused on improving indexing in international databases like Web of Science and Scopus, and implementing DOI systems for academic publications.
