Chiraphol New CHIYACHANTANA is an Assistant Professor of Finance (Education) at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU), where he has been a full-time faculty member since 2014. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Memphis and is recognized for excellence in teaching, having received the SMU Excellent Teacher Award and the SMU Most Promising Teacher Award. Research Interests: His work spans asset pricing, capital markets, financial innovation, FinTech, corporate sustainability, green innovation, digital platform business models, and entrepreneurship in Asia. He emphasizes the strategic role of top management and digital transformation in driving innovation. Publications and Contributions: His research has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Finance , Journal of Financial Markets , and Journal of Banking and Finance . He also co-authored the book A Practitioner’s Guide to Digital Platform Business and contributed influential policy and case studies on cryptocurrency hubs, crowdfunding, and robo-advisory services in ASEAN. Collectively, his articles reflect a strong trend toward digital finance, sustainable business, and innovation in emerging markets.
