Stephen Ban is an Adjunct Instructor of Finance at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business, bringing decades of executive experience in investment management, financial services, and strategic advisory roles. He is actively engaged in promoting sustainability, ESG principles, and economic development in underserved communities.

His research and professional interests span Investment Management, ESG and Sustainability, Capital Markets, Business Strategy, and Economic Justice. Stephen Ban is a founder of GreenCat Advisors, providing strategic guidance to mission-driven businesses and nonprofits. He serves as an independent trustee for the U.S. Bank Closed-End Fund Accelerator Platform and as a senior advisor to the Corporate Coalition of Chicago. He is also an active investor with Hyde Park Angels, supporting early-stage ventures.
