Marla Royne Stafford is Professor and Chair of the Department of Marketing & International Business at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), and Director of Research for the Cannabis Policy Institute at UNLV. With 30 years of academic leadership, she previously served as Executive Associate Dean of Academic Affairs in UNLV’s William F. Harrah College of Hospitality and currently holds the William F. Harrah Distinguished Chair. Her work frequently explores how strategic communication can enhance consumer well-being and inform regulatory approaches, bridging academic theory and industry practice.
