Todd D. Krauss is the Jay Last Professor in Arts, Sciences & Engineering, holding dual appointments as Professor of Chemistry and Professor of Optics at the University of Rochester. His work bridges chemistry, physics, and materials science, focusing on nanoscale materials like carbon nanotubes and semiconductor nanocrystals. He earned his PhD in Applied Physics from Cornell University in 1998. Research interests include nanomaterial synthesis, quantum optics, and applications in energy, photocatalysis, and biomedicine.
