Clive Oppenheimer is a distinguished British volcanologist and Professor of Volcanology in the Department of Geography at the University of Cambridge. With a career spanning several decades, Professor Oppenheimer has established himself as a leading expert in volcanic processes, remote sensing of volcanic activity, and the historical impacts of major eruptions on climate and human societies.
