Professor Viktor Dorfler is a leading academic in AI strategy, creativity, and organizational learning. He holds the position of Professor of AI Strategy at the University of Strathclyde Business School's Department of Management Science, UK, and is a Visiting Professor at the University of Zagreb's Management Department since 2009. His research focuses on the intersection of AI, human cognition, and organizational mastery, with notable contributions to intuition theory, knowledge management, and ethical AI applications. He has authored three books, including the acclaimed What Every CEO Should Know About AI (Cambridge University Press, 2022), and over 150 peer-reviewed publications. Education: PhD in Management Science (University of Strathclyde, 2006); MSc in Business (Budapest University of Technology and Economics, 1999); International Business Relations (Corvinus University of Budapest, 1997). Research interests include AI ethics, grandmaster-apprentice relationships, threshold concepts in learning, and the dynamics of intuition. He has led projects funded by the British Standards Institution, Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies, and the Hydrogen Accelerator initiative. Notable awards include the Strathclyde Medal (2022) and the Tudor Rickards & Susan Moger Award (2022). Prof. Dorfler advises global firms on AI implementation and serves on editorial boards for Management Learning and Academy of Management Learning & Education .
