Edgar J.D. Vredenbregt is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Physics at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research focuses on quantum technologies, including ultracold atom trapping for quantum computing and novel charged particle sources. He leads projects on Rydberg atom-based quantum computing and ultracold ion beams for nanoscale applications.
