Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arda Burak Ekmen is a faculty member at Harran University's Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, with postdoctoral experience at the University of Birmingham (2024-2025). He specializes in geotechnical engineering, foundation design, and AI integration for soil modeling. Post-Doc: University of Birmingham (UK, 2024-2025) Research Visits: Cracow University of Technology (Poland, 2018-2019), West Pomeranian University of Technology (Poland, 2015) His research spans 3D lithological soil modeling , machine learning applications , finite element analysis , and quantum computing in geotechnical contexts. He pioneered realistic soil modeling techniques and AI-optimized foundation systems. Key Projects: TÜBİTAK 2219 Postdoctoral Research (2024-2025), ROAR-NET and ON-DEM COST actions (2025), MAIA COST action (2025) Recognized for his third-place award in the national Earthquake Resistant Building Design Competition (2015), he has presented at prestigious conferences like UKACM 2025 (Oxford/Queen Mary collaboration) and developed software for double major exam scheduling and geotechnical problem-solving .
