Nesibe KANTAR is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Turkey, with postdoctoral experience at De Montfort University (UK, 2023). Her academic journey includes a PhD in Philosophy (Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, 2018-2021), a Master's in Management Information Systems (Hoca Ahmet Yesevi University, 2010-2011), and a Bachelor's in Management Information Systems (2005-2009).
- Research Interests: Information Philosophy, Ethics, 21st/20th Century Philosophy, AI Ethics, Cybernetics.
Her recent publications in Information Philosophy focus on ethical frameworks for AI, societal impacts of information technology, and philosophical foundations of cybernetic systems. Key themes include Flourishing Ethics, epistemological challenges in AI, and reconciling ethical theories for digital governance. She explores the redefinition of human nature in the information age and techno-ethical intersections in Islamic philosophy.
