Rhiannon Kallis is an Assistant Professor at the School of Communication, University of Akron, where she has been affiliated since Fall 2019. Her research focuses on the qualitative analysis of social media's influence on interpersonal relationships, particularly in the context of dating apps, romantic dynamics, and workplace cyberbullying. She teaches undergraduate courses on Principles of Social Media , Advanced Strategic Social Media , and PR Writing , alongside graduate-level Strategic Social Media and Applied Communication Theory classes.
