Venky Shankararaman is Professor of Information Systems (Education) and Vice Provost (Education) at Singapore Management University. A PhD graduate from University of Strathclyde (1992), he holds the SMU Fortitude Fellow in Computing Education position and serves as President of Asia-Pacific Association for International Education. Research expertise spans digital transformation, educational analytics, and enterprise architecture. Primary focus areas include AI governance frameworks, curriculum analytics, and microservices design patterns. Publications emphasize practical applications in government AI systems (ACQAR framework), educational technology (ChatGPT mentoring), and enterprise architecture (microservices decision frameworks). Recent work explores explainable AI for public sector and project-based learning models.
