Prof. Mario Vinković is a full professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Osijek, leading the Department of Labor and Social Legislation. He specializes in EU and national labor law, discrimination, gender equality, and social rights. He serves on the European Committee for Social Rights (Council of Europe) and the State Judicial Council (2019–2027). A Jean Monnet Chair holder (2013–2016), he has authored over 40 papers globally and advised on labor law reforms in Croatia and the EU. His research focuses on anti-discrimination, child labor, and social dumping. Research Interests: Prof. Vinković explores labor law transformation, workplace discrimination, EU social policy, gender segregation, and human trafficking. He advocates for legal frameworks protecting vulnerable workers and promotes Croatian alignment with EU labor standards.
