Prof. Małgorzata Lipowska is a distinguished psychologist and speech therapist at the University of Gdansk’s Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Developmental Psychology and Psychopathology. Her academic career spans over two decades, focusing on clinical psychology, child and adolescent psychotherapy, and the intersection of neuropsychology with cross-cultural research. Habilitation in Psychology (2012), Ph.D. in Psychology (2000), Master’s in Psychology (1996) Current roles: Provincial Consultant for Clinical Psychology, Head of postgraduate programs in Social Sciences, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Early Support for children with developmental disorders Her research interests include: Child neuropsychology: Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, ADHD Developmental psychology: Language development, Special Educational Needs Body image: Cross-cultural perspectives, Stigmatization Environmental impacts: Air pollution on cognitive development, Nature exposure benefits Recent publications highlight her cross-national collaborations (Poland, China, Vietnam, Bosnia, Egypt) and interdisciplinary approach combining psychology, public health, and environmental science. Awards include the Silver Cross of Merit (2016) and multiple Rector’s Medals.
