Tracey Lamb is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Utah. Her research focuses on malaria immunopathogenesis, Plasmodium parasite interactions, and vaccine development. She holds a BSc from the University of Glasgow and a PhD from the University of Edinburgh. Her lab investigates how Eph receptors contribute to liver fibrosis and cerebral malaria, while exploring probiotic yeast-based vaccines for cost-effective mass distribution. The lab's recent publications highlight trends in malaria research, including molecular mechanisms of endothelial barrier disruption , immune evasion by Plasmodium, CD8+ T cell affinity in disease progression, and ephrin-Eph signaling in immunopathogenesis. Collaborations extend to the Center du Pasteur Cameroon and Emory University's Speck Lab.
