Professor Anke Ehlers is a leading academic in experimental psychopathology at the University of Oxford, affiliated with Wolfson College. As Co-Director of the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma (OxCADAT), her work focuses on anxiety disorders and PTSD, emphasizing cognitive mechanisms and evidence-based treatments. Her research has led to the development of a widely adopted cognitive therapy for PTSD, endorsed by NICE and international guidelines. Her academic credentials include a Dipl-Psych, PhD, and habilitation. She holds prestigious awards such as the APA's Distinguished Scientific Contributions Award (2014) and the ISTSS Lifetime Achievement Award (2022).
