Camilo C.M. Rindt is Associate Professor in the Energy Technology group within the Mechanical Engineering department at Eindhoven University of Technology. His research advances thermal storage systems, renewable integration, and sustainable energy solutions. Research concentrations include: Thermochemical energy storage materials Seasonal heat storage system design District heating network optimization Building-integrated renewable systems Sorption mechanism engineering Publications demonstrate consistent focus on enhancing energy storage density and efficiency. The 2017-2018 research established foundational work in sorption material characterization and reactor modeling, with particular attention to calcium chloride composites and packed bed systems. Recent work examines 4th-generation district heating networks. Leadership roles include directing the 'Sorption Heat & Cold in District Heating Networks' project (2021-2023) and educational leadership as Graduate Program Director of Automotive Systems. He has supervised over 150 research projects.
