Charmaine Dean is the Vice-President, Research and Professor in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Waterloo. She holds leadership roles in research administration and academic governance, including previous service as Dean of Science at Western University and Associate Dean at Simon Fraser University. Dr. Dean earned her Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Waterloo in 1988.
