Muzaffer ALKAN is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education at Kafkas University's Dede Korkut Faculty of Education. He has held this position since 2016, following previous academic appointments as Professor (2013-), Associate Professor (2009-2014), and Assistant Professor (2002-2009) at Kafkas University. Dr. ALKAN earned his PhD in Science Education from Karadeniz Technical University's Institute of Educational Sciences (1995-2001), following a Master's Degree in Science Education (1991-1995) and Bachelor's Degree from the Fatih Faculty of Education (1986-1991), all at Karadeniz Technical University. His research spans both Science Education and Organic Chemistry, with a particular focus on triazole derivatives and their biological activities.
