Dr. Teri Stockwell serves as a Faculty Clinician at Life University's Center for Health and Optimum Performance (C-HOP), where she mentors chiropractic students in outpatient care, adjustment delivery, and electronic record keeping. She leads instruction in Chiropractic Bio-Physics (CBP), the most researched chiropractic technique focused on permanent spinal structural changes. Her research interests center on Chiropractic Bio-Physics for spinal rehabilitation and Pediatric Chiropractic applications, informed by her 24-year clinical practice specializing in neurological disorders. She integrates her background in special education for neurologically disabled children with chiropractic care, emphasizing evidence-based techniques like CBP that address structural issues unresolved by traditional medicine. Dr. Stockwell actively mentors students through the PEAK program (Practice, Excellence, Art and Knowledge), having supervised interns from Life University, Cleveland University, Parker University, and Palmer College. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes real-world clinical experience, noting that "teaching others expands your reach" as students carry knowledge into their future practices. She champions Life University's family-oriented environment, with multiple family members affiliated with the institution: daughter Dr. Rachel Stockwell Weimer (LIFE chiropractic graduate, 2012), niece Emily Stockwell (nutrition program), son Jerome Stockwell (IT Specialist), and daughter-in-law Karyssa Standeven Stockwell (Enrollment Services).
