Aydin Babakhani is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), affiliated with the College of Life Sciences. He directs the Integrated Sensors Laboratory (ISL), which focuses on the design and implementation of integrated sensors and systems. His research spans high-speed wireless communication, terahertz technology, medical implants, radar systems, and industrial monitoring solutions.
