Professor Ken Brown is a faculty member at the Department of Computer Science, University College Cork (UCC), Ireland. He holds roles as Professor and Deputy Director of the Insight Centre for Data Analytics. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, constraint programming, optimization, and applications in wireless/sensor networks. He has led major projects including the Insight Centre (SFI), CTVR (telecom), and Authentic (energy management). Supervised 30+ PhD/MSc students. Current research includes smart energy systems, autonomous network repair, and AI for emergency response.
